Advice on visa route for Skilled Worker dependent after ILR – impact of proposed rule changes

Hi
Thanks for suggestion on my ILR and its succeed
Now the question is for my wife
I was on a UK Skilled Worker visa and obtained my settlement (ILR) on December 2025.
My wife joined me in the UK in September 2022 as my Skilled Worker dependent.
Given the proposed rule changes, I would like advice on the best visa route for her going forward:
Should I apply to extend her stay as a Skilled Worker dependent, where her existing qualifying period toward settlement may continue (i.e. the counter does not reset)?
(Issue is the proposed 10 Year ILR rule for all applicant.)
OR
Should I apply for her as a settlement (ILR) dependent, understanding that this route may require her qualifying period to start afresh?
Can I get suggestion for that ILR dependent timeperiod is staying for 5 years or it is also changing to 10 year
The risks or benefits of switching or staying her to a settlement-dependent route in light of the proposed immigration rule changes.
Thank you in advance.
