I lived in the uk from 1999 to 2009 and at the begging of 2009 around April I got my indefinite leave to remain, at that time my fiance which is a USA citizen left around may 2009 to give birth to our son, and right after a month I left for USA with a finance visa,

My question is that am I still in title to apply for a UK citizen , since I had a travel documents that was issued to me for a period of 5 years , I never got the travel documents since they send it to my layer in london and she contact me after 6 months , and at that time I was living in USA

Regards

You lose your indefinite leave to remain status after being absent for 2 or more years from the UK.

To qualify for citizenship, you need 5 year residence immediately preceding the date of application and meet the absence limits and all other requirements. You have to apply within the uk.

From your limited post details, you dont seem to meet the requirements for britiah citizenship.
