Clarification on ILR qualifying period start date (ICT → Skilled Worker):

I’d really appreciate a clarification on the correct start date to use for ILR qualifying period in my scenario. I’ve searched the forum and found similar cases, but I’d like to double‑check so I can plan my application confidently.
My situation:

Route change: Switched in‑UK from ICT to Skilled Worker in 2021
BRP issue date: 15 March 2021
CoS employment start date: 5 May 2021
Employer change: Moved to a new employer on 27 March 2022 with no gap between jobs (continuous leave under Skilled Worker)
Absences from the UK: Only 3 weeks total since 2021

Question:
For calculating the 5‑year qualifying period for ILR (Skilled Worker route), should I treat the start date as 15 March 2021 (BRP issue date ) or 5 May 2021 (CoS employment start)?
Additionally, does the employer switch in March 2022 (with continuous leave and no gap) have any impact on the qualifying start date?

You're eligible for ILR on 15 March 2021 + 5 years - 28 days. The CoS employment start date is irrelevant.

No.

Why would this have an impact?
