Skilled Worker Dependant applying for ILR after sponsor became British citizen

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone has been through a similar situation.
Timeline:
* I came to the UK on a Skilled Worker visa.
* My wife joined me around 3 years later as my Skilled Worker dependant.
* I obtained ILR after completing my qualifying period.
* About 2 years ago I became a British citizen.
* My wife has **remained on the Skilled Worker dependant visa throughout** and has **never switched to a spouse/family visa (Appendix FM).**
She's now reached 5 years as a Skilled Worker dependant and is eligible to apply for ILR.
My question is:
Should she apply using **SET(O)** (PBS/Skilled Worker dependant settlement), or because I'm now British should she instead use **SET(M)**?
My understanding is that because she has always remained on the Skilled Worker dependant route, she should still apply using **SET(O)**, even though I have since become a British citizen.
Has anyone been in this exact situation recently? Did you use SET(O), and was your application straightforward?
Thanks in advance!
