employment status of BOTH of us whilst applying for ILR

Hi

Can someone offer me some advice my hearts dropping here with stress.

I have applied for my husband ILR october 17th. ( I was born here in the uk) I had sent my employment details with it. Now then I thought seeing though I have supplied them with information about my employement I am able to leave my job as I want to go on to open a franchise in January wil be training in december but this wont be classed as fulltime employment.

Im thinking of going into work tomorrow and retracting my resignation as I think it will make a big impact.

should I retract my resignation so that it doesnt affect his application.

Also another issue that I have is that my husband gained his VISA via appeal and we at the time declared we was going to be living at 5 cucumber street but now living at 11 cucumber street, do you think this would cause an issue?

Please someone offer me some constructive advice as I have become quite anxious about this..

Appreciate it, thanks in advance.

this should not cause an issue as changing jobs are a part of life, they may ask for more info from yourselves and you could then send them contracts of the franchise and any other further info they request

thanks for replying made me feel alot less anxious than before :)

should I just write to them in dec and inform them of it or wait until they get in touch with me about it.

I just dont want a total refusal.

I would wait until (or if) you're asked. ILR for spouse is very rarely refused on financial grounds alone.
You are absolutely OK to change address.

So if I leave work and start dealings with my franchise,
it shouldnt cause a problem to the application.

The contracts for franchise will set up by jan,

Im so stressed out by this. I want to leave my work to move onto a better career but I got a feeling that I have to end up staying jsut for this application? :(

The information regarding your employment was correct at the time of the application. The emphasis is on confirming that you're still together in a subsisting relationship rather than income.
Is your husband employed?

he is employed, not a high paid one or anything.

But yes definately correct employment status at time of application.

yes we are dinftely together, and we have a child too :)

ok well im just gna go for it.
defo leave at end of the month and then defo start my franchise because if they do ask then Ill just explain.

whats the worst that could happen?

thanks casa any further advise would be appreciated . :)

You don't both have to be working. You're obviously able to support yourselves, so I wouldn't worry.
