help required!!! - More than 1 Work Permit

hi,
can someone help me please -
I got my 1st WP in April 2005, worked for my employer till Dec 2006.
My new employer applied for my WP in Dec 2006 (before I left my first job) which was approved on 25th Jan 2007.
Would that be considered as continuos employment for the purpose of ILR which is due in about 4-5 months time.
