can someone help me? I am currently on PSW visa for last 1 year and 6 months and it's going to expire in next march'2010. I was on student visa for more than 3 and half years. So in total i am on lawful visa for more than 5 years in UK. Am i eligible for ILR?

Fraid not, it's ten years legal stay, five years on Tier1/2/HSMP or WP.

Hi Senior members,

Need to clarify if i am eligible to apply for ILR,
Came to uk on 24/5/2004 stayed till 23/3/2006 on WP,the visa got expired on 15/5/2006.Came again on 24/8/2006 on WP but for a different client am still here but have changed my status to Tier 1.Can i apply now for ILR or have to wait till Aug 2011.

Would appreciate if senior members can guide me.

Your 5 years time started when you came again and can apply in Aug 2011.

Thanks for the reply...i do have a letter from my previous employer that i was out of country on business purpose..will it help...

HI CAN ANYONE PLZ HELP ME.I AM DEPENDENT OF MY HUSBAND ON WORK PERMIT.MY HUSBAND GOT HIS ILR IN JAN.I WAS OUT OF UK AT THAT TIME.I WAS OUT OF UK FOR 9 MONTHS CONTINUOUS.AM I ELIGIBLE FOR ILR.I HAVE 3 CHILDREN.PLZ CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME?????????
