Clarification required on break in residency rule

I came to the UK on Work Permit on 14th Dec 2004. The work permit was approved in Aug 2004 and was for six months. My passport was stamped with limited leave to remain from Aug 2004 until 12th Feb 2005.
My employer applied for an extension of stay but the extension application for the same was not sent to home office until the 11th of March 2005 which was 27 days after the expiry of the visa stamp on the passport. I was however granted a one year extension valid until 12 Feb 2006.
Will this be treated as break in residency or can i still be granted ILR approval?
