What route did you use? If you used the WP/Tier 1/marriage 5 or 2 year rule, then your wait is probably almost over. HOWEVER if you used the long residence or any other route, your wait could be still only mid way through. I've know people using the long residence route waiting for almost 6 months!

We all play the "waiting game" with the UKBA so don't worry

Applied on Marriage Basis - 2 year
I send all the documents.
* Bank statements
* Bills on both names
* Payslips for 3 months (each person)
* Marriage Certificate
* UK Citizenship Test
* Adress Proof
* Pictures

** Paid by credit card, the money was taken straight away.

*** What do you mean my waiting time is over? Can I call them? I am worried that calling them, it will upset people in the home office...

Thanks for all reply!

95% within 6 months - that means it could be 12 weeks, or it could be 26 weeks.

Have patience - these things can take a long time. You can call them now as you are over the 14 week minimum - all the details will be on the homeoffice website.

They would have been sent by recorded delivery...... ask for the recorded dilivery number and see if the package has been returned to UKBA. Sometimes Royal Mail forget to put a card through the door so you do not know that package is waiting for you.

Can you please tell me why your delivery was delayed? So I know how to contact

Hi. my case is same with yours. Mine was submitted on 10th Aug. I rang up today, it's said it was sent out on 18th Nov. But I have not received it yet. I was given the delivery reference number, then I rang up Secure Mail Services (DX). It's said the address is not sufficient, with my house name missing on the address, so that they failed to deliver. Then it was sent back to UKBA, on the 9th Dec. So I rang back to UKBA. But UKBA said they have not received. ....once they receive it, they will post it again with my profile address.

So I am worried about where is my package. It's so important for me. But their careless mistake made it such a big problem. I hope it's not lost.

how did you get your package back? Did you ring and request it back from UKBA? What's the reason that they delayed the delivery?

Hope to receive your reply asap.
