Hi,
I came in uk in Nov2004.
Was working in an Indian IT company and was paid allowance then.
I did not receive P60 for 2004-05.
Can I provide my payslips for that period instead?
My appointment is on 10Dec2009.
Thanks,
Amit

hi
that shouldnt be a problem as long as you have those payslips and maybe a letter from your employer at that time to say you were employed by them. my ilr application was successful as a wp holder for 5 years but i only had 3 p60s. good luck.

hi aaaami
i provided a letter from my employers saying i had been with them for five years and also my work permits for the five years.i had two work permits , a 3 year one and then a 2 year wp. this was with the usual documents they ask for . eg last 3 month payslips and bank statements etc any other questions dont hesistate to ask as i know how stressful this process is.

One more,
Did you provide P60s and what did you provide for the time period that was not covered by the P60.
Many Thanks.

HI
If you do not have a P60 for that period . call HMRC and requested for your pay and tax details for 04/05.
letter from HMRC accepted in lieu of P60

GOT ILR
P60 is not mandatory you can also provide a letter from the employer(s) about you being employed with them for that period and that should be it.
That does not mean you can get away with not providing a P60 at all.
But should be fine if you are missing any one or two.

if you look at the supporting documents, It is not mentioned that P60 is a mandatory thing when you apply for ILR..
your pay slips will have info about NI contributions & Tax deducations anyway
