Hey , sorry i am still confused .
As per Home office , they mentioned in september that earned citizenship rule will be implemented in July 2011 .
But this link says it will come info affect on 13th January 2010 . ?
So if they implement earned citizenship on 13th then will i be in soup ?
I also send a mail to UKBA asking this . I hope to see a reply tommorow .
No idea why all of sudden to Jan 13th ? I saw this link just today ...should i check to see if i get appointment on 12th ..12th is the earliest day i can apply .....getting appointment on 12th also looks impossible .....
Or is this 13th january news just some mistake ....i am just going mad

take a deep breath and calm down. the Jan 13 rules coming into force are only some aspects of the BCI Bill, regarding uk maternal ancestry etc.
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... es-to-law1
and the news item you've linked to indictates the areas of change: "When the changes have become law, we will make application forms and guidance notes available. Until then, the current versions of the forms and guides
MN1, B(OS) and UKM remain valid"
in sum, the main parts the bill affecting migrants (probationary citizenship etc) still scheduled only for mid 2011, and you will not be affected.
