Hi All,

I just saw my passport when filling Set O form that one of the arrival date stamp is incorrect. Can you please suggest me as how to get it corrected?

Departure from India: 14 jan 2009 and Arrival in Uk: 14-Jan-2008 instead of 2009.

I have not travelled outside UK in 2008 and there is no stamping of 2008.

Please let me know if anyone has overcome this issue. My in person appointment is booked for Mar-10.

Cheers,
Vicky

Thanks a lot Vinny. Luckily, I have got the boarding pass for that particular flight along with e-ticket. Will this of any help in defending my case to HO?

Vicky,
Your Boarding passess and tickets should help to prove your arrival date.

By the way, How did you manage to get in person appointment in March 2010? Are the booking more than 6 weeks in advance?

Thanks a lot for clarification. I got an appointment through a solicitor. It cost me around 360 GBP.

Update:

Called home office and explained about incorrect arrival stamp. They told me that case worker will consider boarding pass/ticket as a valid document.
