"When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the
date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay
on which this application is based."

I came to UK in 2001 but go WP in 2005 so should I state the date of 2001 or 2005.

Logically I think it would be the date on which my WP stamp says its valid from but I thought it's worth double checking. Please someone comfirm this for me.

Thanks.

If you are aplying on he basis of WP, then Yes. It should be 2005.
Date on which you got your WP.

Thanks mate, :-)

One more question, I was granted WP letter on 30th Jan but the valid from date on the visa stamp was 4th of Fab.

Which date should I be using provided that I was in the UK during this time under the student visa?
