I am due for IRL after spending 5 yrs in combination of WP(2005) + WP Renewal(2006) + HSMP(2007-2008) + Tier 1(2009-2010). I am missing 2005 original WP paper document. Can I still apply for ILR? I heard the first check at centre will ask for original papers I am araid I can't even get into the door.

You can apply for ILR. Your passport will have stamp of your WP and also HO will have all your details in their computer. You are feeling conscious than you can get all your WP copy from HO by requesting SAR.

But the recipient on my WP is the employer rather than me? In fact the WP was sent to my employer first and then employer passed it onto me one for them and one for me. I hope my concern is unnecessary.
