Schengen visa for 1 year costs under £40 and gives access to nearly 30 countries! How on earth did they come up with £230 for visitors visa?

Exactly, they come up with one crazy number, then they think it wasn’t good enough!

Even Schengen visa is free for all those who has EC or British partner. Not only visa fee is exempt but prove of accomodation or hotel reservation, return ticket, traveling insurance is also exempt as well.kamalin10 wrote:Schengen visa for 1 year costs under £40 and gives access to nearly 30 countries! Oh God why Labour Party is so selfish. Why are they squeezing people? I remember It was 2003/04 ( if I'm not wrong ) when they actually 1st time introduced ILR fee. Now Its 820 (840 expected this year) by post and 1020 (1095 expected this year) premium service. With this amount of fee anyone can easily travel India or Pakistan 2,3 times.
