I am really worried

My solicitor wrote a Judicial review pre action protocol letter to AIT and JRMU(UKBA) on 10th december 2009, after my appeal was considered "out of time" by AIT, and gave them 28 days to respond and the contents were that if they won't respond then we'll proceed for judicial review without further notice.

My legal representative informed me yesterday that he has now received judgement? What does it mean?

He also said that the pre action protocol letter which I've mentioned above was just to cover my position as to costs, what does it mean?

He told me this when I raised my query that why didn't he made strong arguments in this protocol letter from right now as to why my appeal was dismissed by AIT( previous solicitor's negligence) at first place. And he said he'll raise arguments now in the judicial review, Is he right? I think I am confused with the steps and procedure. I need to know what will happen next? and what's the exact procedure for judicial review.

Please advice me if I am going right now as I think these solicitors taking my matters very lightly. The case wasn't that bad but it has been made complicated by them.

Personal suggestion -

It will be better if you continue the discussion in your original threadrather than creating multiple posts on the same topic. This will help others in becoming aware of your (entire) case history at one place itself and will be able to respond to your queries easily.

As a person reading this post I don't know your case history (which is perhaps scattered in 2-3 different posts), therefore less likely to understand your case and respond / suggest. Or I will have to first search for your original thread (but should I bother or have the time to search??).

In a nutshell, better chances of someone responding back with suggestions / opinions if you explain everything at one place. This said, people can only respond if they have a suggestion to make or an opinion to offer.

Just a personal suggestion that I thought might help you in getting responses.
