According to the following statement.
there were 1190 SET(LR) applications submitted in Sept 2013 of which 160 have been completed and 1035 are Pending.[/quote]
Is this number of application is for London only or for England or for the whole uk. Plz reply if anyone know. Thanks.

I can tell you one thing, I've been pretty calm about the wait until now... I just got on with my work and didn't dwell on it all this while, but now its killing me

I applied Sept 19th and set my expectations to not receive my ILR until March 19th, as per the 6 month UKVI timescale. However I was also quietly hopeful that I might receive it by Jan 19th, as the UKVI seemed to be approving applications within 4 months.

Now that Jan 19th has come and gone.. I am a nervous wreck haha, the anticipation is killing me :D

To those of you who have received your documents back, how did it feel to finally get it?? must have been one of the happiest moments of your lives no? :D

Nik

Looking at the current flow I am guessing yours will be cleared in 2-3 weeks. At least better then 19th March.

Looking at the skydrive data.. 100% Aug applications from our forum has been cleared these month. About 35% of Sep applications has been cleared too. And looking at it it seems like Sept had total 29 applications where as total of following 3 months are only 26. I will not be surprised if I see the results for December application coming out in February. If HO clears the applications at the current pace. They are clearing more applications then they receive and soon be able to catch up with the current flow.

Let's sit back... and wait.. time will tell...

Hi All,

My current visa expires in MArch 2016 and I will be completing my 10 years in August 2016. I am currently on Tier 2 General visa. When I renew this tier 2, I should be on £32,500 income and I'll be on only £30,500 at that time. Just in case my employer doesn't agree to increase my salary I was thinking of putting an application for asylum since I am a transgender and have genuine fear of persecution.

If I seek asylum after March 2016 and complete my 10 years while waiting for a decision on my asylum case, will I be able to apply for ILR on the base of 10 yrs long residence?

Thank you

You can go for FLR (O) human rights case. It will be refused but you will get right of appeal and by then you ten years will be completed. You can withdraw your appeal and go for ILR.

I have been a silent reader on this very useful forum for a very long time now. I applied for the ILR on the 10 year long residence route on the 16th of Sept 2013.

5 Years Student Visa + 2 Years Work Permit + 1 Year Student Visa + 2 Years PSW. I have no gaps and have not been out of the country for more than 150 days in the last 10 years.

My timeline:
Applied: 16 Sept 2013 [Payment Method: Postal Order]
Acknowledgement Letter: 19 Sept 2013
Biometrics Letter Received: 10 Oct 2013
Biometrics Enrolled: 10 Oct 2013 (Same Day)
Approval: Waiting
Biometric Card: Waiting

Documents Submitted: Passports + Biometric Card + Original degrees + Employer Letters + Life in the UK Test Certificate + Utility Bills + Letting Agreements etc

Please update the skydrive with my details. I am hoping to receive my approval letter soon as some of the September applicants have started to receive their documents back. I did call the Home Office this week to enquire about my application, they have confirmed that it has NOT yet been assigned to a case worker yet :( .

If any Gurus can answer, how many days does it roughly take once its assigned to a case worker? Thanks and Good Luck to All.

Hi All,

A response to the above will be appreciated.

Thanks

As far as I know yes because you can work on your previous status unless new visa is issued and your case would be in court

To The Expert, Guru and any one who can give me and advice.

Me and my Daughter came in UK on 16/July/2004 as Visitor Visa (Mean 6 Month Visa Tourist). My first Daughter is 10 Years old now born in Mauritius, she came when she was 3 Months, Second Daughter is 7 Years old Born in UK. I lost One Daughter 2 Years ago (Still Born Baby).
We convert our Visitor visa as Student Dependant Visa on November 2004 till Now, as my husband is here since October 2003 as a student.
My queries are I got 40 days Gap for making the 10Years application. Our visa is run out on 06/June/2014. (Me and my Two Daughters).
My Husband is waiting for his ILR. He applies since last October 2013.

1. What is the best way to apply?
2. Which application we need to make?
3. Which Document need to provide?
Please answer my queries. I will appreciate your help.

God Bless
Best Regards
From
Bibi

Hi,

Another silent reader here. I have been following the updates for a few weeks now and looks like Sept application are well under way.
Sorry to hear about those who applied way before i.e. more than six months and haven't heard anything from the Home Office. My advice like everyone else here will be to contact the HO as soon as possible.
For those who submitted less than six months ago, Good Luck!

Here is my time line, please add me to the sky drive.
