Hello Everyone,

Firstly I would like to thank this forum. It has been a great help.

Yes I finally got my ILR under a 5 year work permit with one employer. I went to the Liverpool PEO and the documents requested from me were:

-SET(O) Application Form
-Absences From UK
-2 Photos
-Life In UK Test Certificate
-Employer Letter
-3 Months Bank Statement
-3 Months Pay Slips

The case worker did not want to see any other document (not even a single P60 was requested!). I handed 6 months pay slips and bank statements but she took them out and gave them back to me. She was extremely polite and very nice. As for absences she only checked the total which was 115 in my case.

I got my ILR in 20 mins and waited for an hour to get it stamped on my passport.

I cannot believe how nice they were at the PEO!! Far from the experience I had with them the last time that I visited.

Hello mate,
Congratulatuion on this acehivement..
Were you work permit OR work permit and Tier 2 combo ??
Did you give letter for "Absences From UK " as you have mentioned this as separate document ??

Thanks in advance..

Deep4ILR : I was only on a work permit for the whole 5 years and no I didnt give a letter for the absences but just wrote mine down on a separate sheet that I handed in (date left UK, date arrrived UK, reason and total days off). I did not have any business related absences. They were all personal.

wunder: Thank you!!!

My employer letter stated the following things:

-Start date of employment (very important)
-My salary
-That my company is in approval of me applying for ILR
-I am still needed in the future
-My job title
-My job description
-Hours of work
-I am full time and permanent

Hope that helps!
