ILR in case of Lost Visa delays by BHC, India.

Hello friends,
Please can you help me regarding ILR doubts in case of lost passports.
I had visited UK for the 1st time in May 2006 (under Business visa for 1 month).
Then, I was working in the UK from 25th June 2006 till 8th April 2009 on Work Permit.
I switched to a tier-1(General visa) on 9th April 2009.
I lost my passports in Bombay on 31st Oct 2009 and for getting back the Tier-1 stamping British Embassy wasted more than 2.5 months and I finally got the visa stamped on my new passports on 8th Feb 2010.
Will this be considered as an exception and can I get ILR exactly after 5 years of arriving in UK?
Moreover, I had visited India 3 times but I don't remember the exact dates for the older ones(old passports were lost).
Thanks,
Prashant.
