anybody in the forum who have applied after 3rd april 2006?
i would like to ask them what version of hsmp form they submitted ?
if you got copy of your application form please reply

Your Q is not clear. If you are asking what section to fill in the SET O forms, this has been just addressed a few days ago on this forum.

Version of HSMP form submitted in 2006? ..why should that be an issue for ILR now? I may have a copy but not sure.

actually i applied for hsmp on 1st arpil 2006 and law changed on 3rd april 2006. in order to apply for ilr i need to have proof that i applied on 1st april 2006 as i dont have proof of posting so i asked ukba to disclised my information held about my application and they replied that they received application on 4th april 2006 but they dont have post date. now as per i know version for applying hsmp form changed from 3rd april so i am looking for that copy of form if somebody might have as i applied on the form version 04/05 i can prove that i applied before law changed
please help me out if you can

I understand. The UKBA should be able to look at your original form for you, request them to check that.
I will look in my archives but i may not have a blank form, will see what I can find.

The 2006 version came into force from Monday 3/04/06, its called HSMP 1(Form version 04/06) valid from 03/04/2006 to 18/06/2006). I used this form as I applied in June 2006.

I did fill a previous version of the form, HSMP1 Form Version 04/05 but never send it off for some reason, thats how I missed the 4 yr ILR rule.

Anyway, best way to state your case will be that you applied on this version of the form, you do not need any copy, as they should have your original application form. I have a blank 2006 form which you should say you did not use, hence your application was before 03/04/06 or otherwise they should have rejected the 04/05 form.

You say you applied on 1/04/06 which was a Saturday and the application would have reached only on Monday the day the form changed but the new form would have been available but its good that you did not use that.

i appreciate your help in this matter as this would save me whole 1 year .
i know i am bothering you but i tried to look for all forms of hsmp but could not find any copy of this version of form. can you please help me out atleast if i can get the copy of front page which says that form is valid from 03/04/06.

Not a problem, send me your email( by pm) address and I shall email it to you. This will be your proof to UKBA that you did not use this form.
