Hi All ( Set-O WP app )

I was planning to just make copies all the docs , but i have met some resistance from other embassies when trying to submit original bank statements , do you just have to show your bank statements or provide copies for submission to the HO ?

which of the docs to they actually keep ( want ) copies of an which do they just wast to see the originals ?

Applicant:
*Bank Statements 3 months (joint acc)
*5 x P60's
*letter from employer

Wife
*Mortgage doc
*council tax bills
*gym membership in both names
*electoral registration
*marriage certificate
*various bank statements during the course of last 5 years as 4 different addresses
*home insurance -joint policy

You also need to provide salary slips for atleast last 3 months.
You KOL pass certification letter.

You need to provide all original documents. No copies. They will make copy themselves if required.

They will return all original documents except letters which have been addressed to them eg. Employer letter.

Is your wife applying as your dependent (i.e. Wp dependent) ?

Ahh yes , sorry forgot last 3 wage slips , and yes my wife is applying as my dependant on my WP

and yes 2 x original Life in the UK test certificates.

You can carry all those documents as a backup and submit if only asked for.

I was not asked a single document for my wife.
The only proof was the joint bank a/c stmt.
And yes originals, no copies.

Hi Iank,

I think you asked a question about the TCE notification.
I am wondering (as I am in the same situation) if you need a response from HO to the employer as evidence that they have been notified.

As far as I know, the documnets that we provide at the time of application should not be more than a month old.
