Hi all,
My FLR is due to expire in July 10. Me and my husband are preparing and gathering documents so we can send them off in June. Although we have a few questions to ask:
1. Are ILR and Settlement the same?
2. We will be applying by post, will Home Office arrange an interview?
3. Is employment letter complusory?

Thank you in advance for your answers :D

xx

1. Yes.
2. They may, if they feel it necessary.
3. I don't think so - else house wives / husbands would never qualify (if applying using SET(M) form).

regards

On what basis are you applying ILR? HSMP or Work Permit or long residency etc?

It wasn't clear that you are on spouse visa from your 1st post which is why i asked too many questions. Your questions are already answered by Sushdmetha.

One more question here ..
For financial proof, the rule says 6 months worth of bank statements for sponsor and 3 for applicant. I've heard some people submitted 3 months worth and it was fine. As we have a joint account, can we submit 3 instead of 6? If you understand what I mean (I am sorry for my English) :D

Follow the rule.
