As you can see here, me, my wife (Dependant 1) and Son (Dependant2) has got Permanent Visa - Indefinite Leave to remain in UK dated 16th. We had direct appointment. Every thing went well. Submitted documents:
Filled Form, Photos, All Passports, 6 Months Payslips and Bank Statements, 3 Years P60's and first year 'Employment History' obtained from HMRC (Thanks to other post in this site), Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate and thats all really.
Point to be noted: When I was student, I applied for HSMP in FEb 2006 - Got refusal in March, appealed with some more documents and finally got Approval letter in May 2006 - Went to india for Entry clearance - entered UK on 2nd JULY 2006. The main point here is thought I have appled for ILR on 16th June 2010 and my ILR on PP says it start from 16th June, I AM GIVEN A SEPARATE LETTER THAT STATES THAT ' THIS LETTER IS TO CERTIFY THAT YOU ARE DEEMED TO HAVE ILR FROM 2ND JULY 2010 - AS PER THE HSMP JR'.
HURREY... HURREY.... HURREY......

Hi Son_of_Soil,
You dont need to maintain any big amount of funds in account. The Statements are just to prove your economic activity and to confirm that you are having enough funds to maintain yourself.
But it is recommended that you maintain atleast 2-3K in the account to give good impression.
Hope you got answer. Wish you all the best.
