Can I do it now if the time of my application is around July 2011?
Is this not one of those test that expires like IELTS?
Tnx

You can take it now. No expiry, but don't lose the pass certificate. They won't issue another one.

Hi, just a very last question on this,
Regarding of any of the changes that may or may not happen in relation with the ILR after July 2011 are the potential applicants going to need to take the test anyway? or this is something that could be abolished for the new goverment laws?
Thanks a lot!

KOL is and will be still required for ILR / PR - there was/is no indication for the opposite.
Actually, I personally wont be surprised if English requirements will even become more tougher in the future.
