Confusion about apply in person for 10 years residence

Does any have the same confusion?
The application form clearly lists the categories of application can't be applied in person and 10 years residence doesn't fall into it. However, I was told by UKBA ppl that I have to apply by post.
Obviously applying in person will be more convenient provided the processing time is UNKNOWN.

Do you have any reference to this information?
I belive you can apply at peo.
I would not rely on this call. You know the people who answer phone calls are nuts. Some of them even dont know the basics.
Better ring again and ask someone else.

Hi Ali,
I called THREE times and also checked information on the internet. THe outcome is i have to do it by post.
Strangely, when i click on ' who can apply' on the page to book an appointment, it shows 10 year residence category have to apply by post.
The informations from HKBA are not same!
