Hello,

I made an appointment at the Cryodon office for Sep 2 to apply for ILR as a spouse of a British citizen. The online appointment booking system doesn't mention that my spouse has to come with me for the appointment. Can I go by myself or does my spouse have to accompany me?

When I went to the Croydon office 2 years ago to apply for FLR(M), when I made the appointment by phone, the person told me that my husband needed to come with me as well. He accompanied me to the appointment, although he didn't need to answer any questions - my application was fairly straightforward.

Can you guys share your experiences please?

Thanks,
Nabs

If you apply in person, you and your settled partner should come to the appointment at the public enquiry office. If your partner cannot come with you, they must provide a letter stating that they support your application. The letter must be signed and dated, with a daytime telephone number where they can be contacted if necessary.
