Documents for dependents.

Dear all,

I just finished filling up my Set(o) form based on tire 2 work permit.
I noticed that the form asks only my date of entry into the country and the absenses.
There is no place where I can fill the details of my wife and son.
Do I have to fill a seperate form for them, or attach addition sheets of their entry etc?
FYI, my son was born here and my wife has been here since 2006.

Thanks.

If the form allows you to include the dependents in the same form if they are eligible for settlement at the same time as you but does not ask for details of absences of the dependent(s) from the UK, then there is no requirement to provide such details.

regards

The guidance says its the same form.

Dear Mr Mehta,

Thanks for the guidance.

I double checked the guidance, and for set (o) excluding long residence, the dependents can apply with the main applicant. My questions were more based on the practicalities- like how do they verify the requirement that the dependent have to be in the UK for 2 years, as these details are not captured anywhere in the form. This is the reason why I was doubting if they have to submit a seperate form along with the main applicant.

This is also based on my earlier application on Tier 2, where I had to submit individual applications for the dependents, inspite of including the dependents on the main applicant form.

Thanks and regards.

The declaration(s) on the form are not the only source of information regarding immigration history / travel / absences of the individuals named in the application.

There are other methods to capture and verify / store such information e.g. - landing cards, advance passenger information system (e-borders), arrival / departure stamps on the passport etc. etc.

regards

Thanks for your clarification.
