Hello

I am on a spousal visa and would apply for ILR early next year.
I just discovered that I would need to prove my level of English.

From 29 November 2010, you will need to show that you can speak and understand English if you want to enter or remain in the UK as the partner of a British citizen or a person settled here.

Would I need to take a test if I have postgraduate degrees from 2 UK universities, and a Bsc from Nigeria?

A bit confused. Please Help

If you are here on a 2 year spouse visa, this test doesn't apply to you.
However, you'll need to pass the Life in the UK test or complete an ESOL Citizens content course.

Thanks a lot.
I am here on a 2 year LTR.
I was just about to send my Bsc certificate to NARIC. Glad you clarified it.
Really grateful

You're OK with the Life in the UK (KOL) test?
