Hi, I entered uk on 8th march 2001 in student visa , last year I extended my visa, but unfortunately my visa expiring on 26 th feb 2011. Total 10 days short to make 10 years ?

1) can i fall under 28 days rule category ?

2)or do i need another extension for 10 days ?

3) my dependants visa is also expiring on the same date as me, so once i apply for my ILR, should they go back to home country or they can they wait until i get the visa.

experts advice please

1) Yes. Apply by post for SET(O) from Tuesday, 8 February 2011 and before leave expires. KOL required.
2) No.
3) See also spouse visa is expiring, how can he extend? Apply by post for FLR(M) after/at the same time as 1) and before leave expires. English test required.
