Hi

We will soon be applying for my Husbands ILR Set M. We live with my parents and pay them £200 per month for bills. Should I write this in the section of the form where it says do you pay rent to anyone? They do not provide us with financial support which they have stated in the letter that we will give to Home Office. They will include a council tax letter and electric bill to show that the bills are in their name, do they need to fill in section 11 of the fom that says Consent for Verification checks-If the account with the bank or utility company relates to another person who is to provide the applicant with financial support, that person* should sign the following declaration. They do not povide us directly with financial support (apart from allowing us to live with them).

Many thanks

Julia

The financial support isn't being provided, so no they don't.
You need to sign this section yourselves (i.e the applicant).
The main focus with spouse ILR applications is the fact that the marriage is continuing rather than finance.
