Hi,

As we all know that we can't be out of UK for more than 180 days in 5 years term to be eligible for IDL.

However in my case I probably would cross this criteria of 180 days limit due to few business visits.
Could you please advise if the business visits are being treated as holidays as ofcourse i am out of UK.

could you please provide any template or material in the letter to ask my employer to prove to Home office that i was out of country on business. Or any specific points to be mentined on letter which is accepted by home office.

Many thanks for your help.

regards,

Absences from UK due to work related overseas trips and paid leave(s) will be discounted when letter from employer certifying the same is submitted along with the application.

Thank you.

Do i need to provide this letter irrespective of my eligiblity? Or i should just ignore this if i am not over 180 days?

Thanks for letting me know.
