ILR 28 days rule for dependant - Urgent

I have my appointment booked in 2 weeks time.

Iam in UK for 5.5 years on WP + Tier 1

My wife will not have completed 2 years as my dependant on the appointment date. She will need another 3 weeks for that.

Will this be an issue ? As i thought she should be eligible to apply 28 days before she completes 2 years as my dependant.

Can someone please clarify soon ?

I dont think this should be a problem. But I do not have any proof for this , logically this should not be a problem.I am assuming that even if your visa expires you will not be able to complete 2years.

2 Years Atleast

I reckon Dependant 2 Years At least ( NOT 28 days earlier as Main applicant).

I emailed UKBA regarding this. This is what they said:

"Please be advised that your wife must have been present in the UK as your dependant for a minimum of two years before submitting her application for Indefinite Leave to Remain together with yourself.

If she has not completed two years, she is required to submit the FLR(M) application form after you obtain you"

So I will be applying for ILR (for both of us together) once she completes her 2 years.
