I want to ask that if a student complete his 10years after April 2011, (as i'm gonna complete my 10 years lawfully in 2013) so can he apply for ILR on basis of 10years long residence in UK?
I've heard lots of rumours around that this 10years long residency has been finished now.

Wait until April'2011, every thing will be on the UKBA web page by then, but you never know if further changes will be in place before 2013. If you haven't got leave to remain until you qualify in 2013, then its better to think about the extension of leave at this stage because there may also some significant changes coming for the T 4 extension rules in April.

hi all ,
i am new to this website and i wanted to know if i have to have a good job-professional one when applying for 10 years long residence visa. i have done 8 years student visa and 2 yrs psw. if i dnt have one ,will that affect my application in anyway.
And does anyone know about the changes to 10 year ilr in april 2011.
your advice will be much appreciated.

No, a "good job - professional one" is not a eligibility criteria.
