Hi

I got a penalty from council for driving a hired car in bus lane, but that was through car rental agency. I paid the entire amount and settled the penalty. I had used a non-UK driving license. Will this be considered criminal offense? Please advise.

Just to clarify, traffic violation penalty was served to the car rental agency and they settled the fine on my behalf. My details were not sent to the council I believe.

I am bit concerned because my ILR is due this year and not sure if I need to declare this info. in application.
