ILR FOR DEPENDENT:

Date entered in UK: 25/2/07- Work permit dependent

Left UK : 20/6/07 and returned to UK on 27/7/08 as Tier-1 dependent i.e. returned after 13 months.

Left UK : 16/5/10. Returned on 26/6/10 and in UK now i.e. was on holidays for approximately 40 days.

Is there any continuous stay criterion for dependents as well?

She is in UK on continuous basis from 27/7/08 and will be completing 3 years continuous stay on 27/7/11 with around 40 days absence in between.

Can she apply for ILR? pl advise.

Thanks

Hi, I'm on a simialr boat...My wife completed 2 years of stay before she left uk and returned after 13 months (maternity). Is she is eligible for ILR?

Entered UK: Jan 2008
Left UK : May 2008 (for holidays for 35 days)
returned UK : June 2008

Left UK: Jan 2010
Retuned UK: Feb 2011

I would be eligible for June 2011...Pls help.

Thanks

But please make sure you have the cohabitation documents as the new requirement.

As long as the cohabitation docs are there, I think its fine.

its even more straight forward as your wife was always your dependent.
