Dear all
i have to apply for ILR in november this year,i need some one guidence on two issues.

1-Residential requirments
2.Income documentation

i am bit concern about residence,we are curruntly living with my father in law but that home is being rented by housing association and council pays rent as he is on house benefits.so will only one letter from my father in law will be sufficient or we need letter from housing association/council etc

secondly:
in my first year i remain unemployed for 10 months, then i worked for 2 months which i has payslips etc
from january 2011 i am selfemployed,my all income is about 4000.i will apply for tax return,so at the time i will apply i will have only this tax return of 4000 as next return will be in next year.what other documents i should include,my partner is working full time and we are not taking any benefits etc

waiting for kind reply

Are the council aware you're living in the property?

yes we informed them when we moved in,i talked to council they only give me electoral verification letter that these 4 person are living in this address.
rest they said we cant give any letter, you may contact your housing association and get tenancy agreement etc
