Hi

I have been going through the new rules (COP etc.) and scratching my head. I was on WP/Tier2 (ICT) till Apr-2010 then I switched to Tier 1 (General).

Do I need to worry about all the COP confusion? Am I right in assuming that if I can show the below, I am good (I am applying in May)?

1. P60s for 4 years on WP/Tier 2 (ICT)
2. 12 months salary on Tier 1 (two sources i.e. payslip & bank statements)
3. I can get a letter from the new employer on tier 1.
4. Do I need a letter from the previous employer?

Please help as this is driving me nuts and i am spending sleepless nights. I am earning the same salary under Tier 1 as the salary that I had applied for.

WP (Jul2006-Feb2010) + Tier1(Feb2010-Tilldate)...Do I need to produce employment letter for WP period?

you don't need to deal with COP as you are Tier 1. letter from current employer should be enough.

you do need evidence of your past WP status - so your WP, P60s, maybe payslips should be with you when you apply. and if anything is lacking, get a letter from that previous employer with basic information (job title and dates employed).
