Hi Singha6,
Congrats on you ILR. Just a few questions.
1. Did the case worker ask for all the 5 years P60's/you just provided them.
2. Did you pay the fees only ater the case worker gave you a decision on your application.
3. How was your overall experience.
Thanks

Congratulation and thanks for sharing your experience. Couple of questions:
1. Do you take only dividends or a combination of dividends + salary (Assuming you are director of your own limited company)? You mentioned you provided dividend vouchers. Did you not provide any salary slip?
2. Did you submit any business bank statement or all were personal bank statements only?

Hi psdesai
don't think contract job is an option as long as you can show / prove that the contract is going on or will last for a considerable amount of time say for e.g. 3 months.
They don't want to be granting ILR to some one with say a week's contract and then after a week, he / she will start receiving job seeker's allowance.

We are trying to assess whats going on in caseowrker's mind. You may be logically right but I am just curious to know on what ground the caseworker may reject the ILR application (especially when the person is on Tier-1 visa). As long as a person scores the required points (and meets or exceeds the controversial salary criteria) he should be OK. If a person is on contract and has a month's contract remaining can never be a ground for refusal (citing chances that he might claim benefits later on).
Even if a person has a week's contract left no one can say for certain that he will claim benefits. What if he gets a job a day before his contract expires (or if his current employer extends the contract). All that matters is where you stand at the time of application.

Thanks All!!!
Total Procedure in Details in steps:-
1.) Security Check - Airport type security check – they check the print-out of the appointment confirmation & then tell you which window to go.
2.) At the window: - the guy checked my printout & passports & handed me the Ticket no. & told me to wait & my ticket no. will be called.
3.) In 3 mins time – my ticket no. was called. I went to that window & the Lady on the window asked me which documents I have to submit for my ILR? – I submitted the above mentioned documents.
After I handed her my documents – she checked the SET (O) form & documents with her paper sheet & when she finished checking (when she satisfied with the documents) –She kept all my documents in a folder & given me the folder along with the Payment page of the SET(O) form & told me to go to the Payment window to pay for it.
4.) I went to the payment window & paid the fee. The payment lady took my documents folder & told me to wait for my no. to be called for.
5.) After say 15mins – the caseworker called my no. & He asked the above ?’s & told me it will take 40 mins for him to load the information on to the system & he will come back after that.
6.) The caseworker came back after 40 mins & mentioned that he is granting us ILR & he has sent the passports for stamping & we have to wait for 15mins. & asked us if we want to know the Life in Uk test exams scores.
7.) After 15mins, our no. was called & the window guy handed us our passports with the ILR stamps on them.

Thanks for your reply Singa6. I must have overlooked the salary slip thing. My bad. Did you get the salary slips from a payroll service or did you print them yourself and signed (and stamped it?)?
