Hi,
I have recently got indefinite leave to remain. My wife is on tier-1 dependant visa and would be eligible to apply for settlement in the middle of july. Can i apply for settlement visa in July for her or do in need to switch her into different cateogry until she qualifies for indefinite leave to remain.

If her visa has not expired, she will be fine to apply in July for ILR. Technically though she has a Tier 1 dependent visa but you no longer have Tier1 visa. You might want to check this with UKBA on phone but I am sure it will be fine to wait until July.
