ILR new rules

Does anyone know about the new ILR requirements?? I make 5 yrs with a combination of work permit (2.5 yrs) and Tier 1 (2.5 yrs). Although i worked continously on work permit i had to take 6 months break from work (to study for exam) when i was on Tier 1. So there was no salary for me during these 6 months. My stay in UK had been continous otherwise.
Can someone advice me if i am eligible for ILR under new rules which probably asks for continous employment over 5 yrs although i am not sure weather this is for Tier 1 or work permit holders.
