ILR - Separate Form for Dependent?

Hello,

I'm on Tier 1 (General) extension (WP->HSMP->Tier1 route) and now completing 5 years of continuous stay in UK.

My question is -

Do I need to fill up 2 SET (O) forms? (one for self, One for Spouse)

My wife will be applying for ILR along with me.

p.s.=> I tried to search previous posts but couldn't found anything on this. If any answer already exists a link to post will be appreciated.

I was told by my colleague that you need to fill up different forms for self and dependent (40-50 pages each), although he applied before April rules/form change.

Also do I have to submit all documentary proof as in applying for Tier 1 or only 3 months of pay slip and 3 months of bank statement along with 5 years of P60's are sufficient?

I found mixed forum posts here and not sure which one to follow.

siddhant4u has now made me think, can the moderators please confirm on if we require different forms for self and dependant or just one if applying at the same time.

And to your other question siddhant4u, if you are applying for ILR on WP then I think it is 3 months payslips and bank statements and if on Tier 1 then it is 12 months for each to show you meet the earning criteria.

Hope the moderators/seniors can clarify the number of forms to be filled.

Which visa is your wife is on? if she is on dependent visa with you as main applicant then you can apply for her in your form. if she has any other visa then you cannot.

If i would be you then i would take all evidence i have for my salary with me. on a given day case worker may be happy with last 3 months salary slips or might want to see last 12 months earnings or may be more than that.. there is no harm taking everything what you have and then not needing it rather than not taking it with you and then making things complicated unnecessarily. This all is IMHO.

thanks for reply.

Wife is on dependent visa and was in uk for 4.5 years.

I'm planning to apply by post so i guess I should send everything which may be required.

Should you not be qualifying for ILR? For which you should be scoring 75/80 points for attributes and should you not be producing evidence of your income for 12 months out of 15, so how would 3 months payslips be enough unless you qualify with that 3month income or have others means to prove your income?

Can I include my dependants in my application?

You can use one form for a joint application by you, your partner and any children aged under 18, if they are applying as your dependants. Children over 18 must apply separately.
