i had a traffic offence of overspeeding and was charged a fine. due to late submission of documents in the police station my case was referred to the court. the court fined me a certain amount and endorsed my license with four points. does this kind of offence comes under new criminal conviction rules of immigration?what effect would it have on my ILR application? can the jugement be averted now to prove my innocence? please reply me

thanks for your reply sticky. there are still some things unclear to me when i read the information sent by you.
regarding my traffic offence i did pay the fine amount on time, it was just the late submission of the counterpart though i did submit my license in the police station.the reason not to submit my counterpart was i had lost it and ordered a new one but due to some carelessness on my behalf i missed the deadline to submit my new one. after missing the deadline i did submit my new counterpart and license but my case was referred to the court.

You need to refer to outcome of the court order, were you convicted of the offence?
