ILR CLOCK...START DATE

Entered in visitor visa ~ 06/2003
Granted ancestry ~ 01/2004 ~ 01/2008 (4yr)
FLR ~ 01/2008 ~ 01/2013 (5 yrs)

1~Could u pls help me figure wen my date entere uk starts to put on form. Is it 06/2003 or do i put 01/2004 on the form.

2~In qualifying period~my days absent are within the rules. It is only after qualifying that days absent are over the limit. Is this an issue?

Why didn't you apply for ILR in 01/2009?

I didnt have the funds at that time. Could the gap AFTER be a problem.

They will consider the 5-year period immediately preceding the ILR application.

Do you mean that they will take into account that big gap. Please explain further if you can. ? Thank you for help nd advise.

Absences in the qualifying residential period will be taken into account. In your case, the qualifying residential period will be the 5 years preceding the settlement application.
