Dear all,

thanks in advance for such a good forum .

I am due for ILR next year. Here is my immigration history.
Jan2005 - entry clearance -Student visa.
Feb 2006- Residence Permit - Student visa .
May 2007- Residence Permit - Student Visa .
January 2008 - HSMP Visa Stamping -In country application.
January 2010- Tier (1) General with income of £31500.00 PA.
Due for ILR - Jan 2013.

My ILR question
1. I was made redundant at my work place in april2010 and got new job in May 2010 with £29500.00 PA . As per new rules we need to get 75 points for ILR . I will be getting 10 points for age , 30 points for my degree. 5 points for UK experience. 30 points for my income( £29000-£31999 Income band) which will accumulate to 75points. Will be there any problem as my income dropped from £31500 to £29500?

Pls reply .
Thanks once again.

As long as you scored the points through income band mentioned in the point calculator. there is no problem. The problem only arises, in case the salary figure goes out of the income band.

Since your income is still in the same band, so there shouldn't be any problem.
