ILR on expired passport of dependent - is it possible?

Details - Indian
Tier 1
ILR due on 15th Jul

My daughters passport is getting expired few days before when I'm eligible to apply for ILR. I don't want to apply for new passport as it may delay the whole ILR application process.
Does any one know whether it is possible to get ILR on an expired passport of dependent child?

Thanks

Yes, it's possible.

Where was she born?

If she had been born in the UK, then she may not have needed to make an ILR application.

It's okay, if they haven't changed their policy.

you can apply for a new indian passport up to on year before passport expiry. If you apply in person, it usually takes 3-5 working days only. You still have 3 weeks before you apply for ILR. You can easily get this sorted before that.

Hello,
Can anyone post / indicate where I could find an updated current link from the Home Office which demonstrates that you can get ilr with an expired passport. The links from earlier in the thread on longer exist.

Thanks

The webpage states that the relevant IDI in question is currently being updated.

since instructions regarding ILR on expired passport are no more there hence do not take such chance.
you have more than 2 weeks and urgent passport should not take more than 3-4 days
