ILR for child or not

I'm in a dilemma, i'm due for an ILR in mid July. I have a child who is born in UK, but after she was born i got her a HSMP dependant visa. As per rules, my child is eligible for citizenship registration as she is born in UK.

The confusion is that if I apply for an ILR through post for self:

1) Is it mandatory to apply for ILR of the child as she has a dependant HSMP visa?
2) If I don't apply for my child's ILR with my application, what will be the status of my child's visa till i get my ILR /Passport back throuh post, can she stay on the same (HSMP) visa when my status changes?
3) Can I straight away apply for citizenship of my child after my ILR without and problems?

Request you to let me know on my confusion

No, if the visa is still valid for a while and you will get your passport back within that time
2) If I don't apply for my child's ILR with my application, what will be the status of my child's visa till i get my ILR /Passport back throuh post, can she stay on the same (HSMP) visa when my status changes?
Yes, technically.
3) Can I straight away apply for citizenship of my child after my ILR without and problems?
Yes
