I have a few questions and would appreciate clarification on a few points, mainly Im I eligible for 10 yrs ILR.

1. Came in as a visitor ( 6 month visa) - decided to study here 2 months into my stay and applied for course and student visa.
2. UKBA rejected studen visa on the grounds that college was a public college.
3. Consulted lawyer who advised me to enrol with appropriate college and appealled on my behalf (within the 10 days i was given to appeal).
4. H/O eventually gave me a student visa after about a year deciding on appeal.
5. Since then have been on student visa for 7 yrs ( all submitted before expiry date and all successful first time) and 2 PSW.

My question is can i count the 1yr it took for H/O to decide my case towards 10 yr cause I appealed within given time and was never illegal at any time?

Would appreciate any advice / comments you may have.

Thanks for the quick response

On point 4; The appeal was handled by a solicitor who basically said to the H/O that i had enrolled with another college, showed them enrolment and attendance records, sufficient funds etc. Case went to court where it was decided to grant me a student visa on the basis new college.
