Hi there,
I am in the process of applying the PR but one of the requirement for the work permit applicants given in section 10 Documents is as follows;
Employmnet letter from the employer - (particular wording as per the new rules is still required for employment in question) Do we have to add the wording like 'still required him for the forseeable future. If I add that wording my present employer refuse to give the letter with that wording because they saying that it will break the company law. Please advice how to deal with the problem and what wording can I amend in the letter and this should not affect the employer and to satisfy the immigration board requirement.
Thanks

in what way are they saying they are breaking the law by saying they need you for the future?

Hi there
Thanks for your response.
When I spoke to my HR she said that they cannot be able to provide the letter with the wording like I will be required for the foreseeable future becuause my current project is finishing by december so they dont know where they will place me to next project and moreover if they provide a letter with the wording the immigration board later may ask for the evidence of my next project. So thats the issue going on. But they can give a letter like I will be required until the endof the project (ie.. by December 2011).
Is there any other option to change the wording. Please advice.

This is to confirm that Mr. XXX (Your name) is currently employed by XXX (Your Company) in the UK as a full time and permanent employee. He has been employed since Date as a (your post). He is required by the company for a foreseeable future.
I was asking to my employer to provide the letter in the above format. The lastwording 'Foreseeable future' wording makes the issue.
Thanks

Same case for me, struggling to get the wording as my assignment is getting over shortly in UK.
Called Immigration Helpline number to get advice.
They said 'My Employment is OK but can i still request the employer to include as Still ongoing'.
Now requesting the Employer to include it as 'My Employment is still ongoing'. If you are not getting what you are expecting then keep this as a Plan B.
My question to the forum is,
1. Did anybody got rejected or heard about any case that was refused for the 'foreseeable future ' wording missed in letter?
2. Did anybody got it success or heard about the success without the 'foreseeable future ' wording missed in letter?
