SAR request

Hi, I've sent out the SAR request nearly four weeks ago but still haven't received it yet (nor the payment is taken from my account). I wonder for those who had their SAR request sent to them, how long was the wait? Many thanks!

The only thing I had received so far was a letter confirming that they had received my request, as well as returning the original utility bill in the letter.

I submitted my SAR application on 26th May 2011.
Nothing received yet

I sent my SAR request on 2nd July. Received confirmation on 6th July. Finished 40 day deadline on 16th Aug. Today send a fax reminding them to do it within 7 days, otherwise I will complain to Information Commisioner's office. Let's see what happens next. Will keep you guys posted.

Acknowledge letter I received, they have given Fax no 020 8760 3541.
I tried to send fax on this number, but it says " number you have enter does not recognised".
Don't know what to do, so 2 days back I have send a letter to them.
My ILR is due in Dec this year, so not in hurry...

Just found out that the cheque has been deducted from my account today. I hope that means they are sending it soon!
