Hi,
I have my ILR Appointment in a week's time.
As a supporting documents for the Cohabitation can we submit the Bank Statements for the past two years for our Joint Account which has both of our names on it?
In addition to those Joint Account Bank Statements, do we need to submit any other documents?
Would be grateful if someone can clarify this.
Thank in advance for the help!
Best Regards

Yes you certainly do need to submit more evidence! If you read the guidance for SET(M) you'll see that you have to provide a minimum of 6 documents showing joint address from at least 3 different categories.
These must be spread as evenly as possible throughout the 2 years.
Categories would be as an example:
Council tax
Utility bills
TV Licence
Medical letters/GP's surgery registration.
Do you really only have bank statements in your names at your address for the whole of the 2 years?
You'll need to find more evidence from different sources or your application will be rejected.
Do you have the Life in the UK pass certificate or ESOL equivalent?

Hi Casa,
Many thanks for your quick reply.
I should have mentioned that I am applying for ILR using SET-O Form. My wife had come to UK along with me and has been in the country for 5 years. She had also got the Tier-1 Extenstion as my dependant. So I was thinking that just the statements should suffice as SET-O form does not mention anything about 3 different sources.
Based on your response which is useful: We both have got Driving licences which we are attaching. Also attaching few utility bills along with the application from recent period (last 6 months).
The problem is that the SET-O Application does not clearly state this and just states:
-----
If you have a spouse or civil partner listed in section 2 of this application form who is applying at the same time as you, please provide documentary evidence of cohabitation since you were last granted leave (up to a maximum of two years). Evidence provided should cover the whole period and be in the form of official letters or documents, addressed to yourself and your spouse.
-----
So, just going by that statement, people easily think that one proof is suffecient.

Use the suggested list and quantity of documents on SET(M) as a basis for the paperwork your provide for SET(O).
